Brett Cotten is the co-founder and CEO of Arda Biomaterials – a chemistry technology company transforming waste biomass into plastic-free polymers and materials. The team at Arda are first transforming spent grain proteins, an abundant by-product of brewing and distilling, into plastic-free leather-like materials, though Arda's protein manipulation platform is capable of much more. Before Arda, Brett worked with alternative protein startups and investors, completed the Cambridge MBA for biotech, and authored the biotech entrepreneurship book, Gene-trepreneur.
