Ian McDonald is a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer at Aether Capital Partners, an impact investment firm based in London. In partnership with the NGO Canopy Planet, Aether has established a sustainable materials fund to support fast-growing companies focused on producing sustainable, low-carbon, wood-free alternatives for packaging, textiles and other applications. Ian has thirty years of experience investing across multiple asset classes and holds a M.A. degree in Economic & Social History from the University of St. Andrews.
