James Carnes is an Innovator, Brand Strategist, and Executive Advisor born and raised near Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1995 with a degree in Industrial Design and after many years as Creative Director at adidas, James became Head of Brand Strategy, tasked with outlining the brand’s competitive advantage for both 2020 & 2025 strategies and driving leadership in sustainability. In 2021 Carnes started brand consulting, recently joining PUMA as Strategic Advisor to the CEO.
