Laura Coppen leads the sustainability investments at H&M Group ventures as of September 2023. Laura manages the sustainable fashion investment portfolio, 13 companies, alongside sitting on the board (Director, Observer or Alternate) for Infinited Fiber Company, Colorifix, Tree to Textile, Kintra, and Fairbrics. Laura was previously Head of Circularity and Environment at Zalando, responsible for launching Zalando's first Circularity strategy. Laura led a team of senior experts crossing product, business models, and end of life solutions inclusive of an investment strategy for recycling startups. Laura comes with 15+years experience in the fashion industry at the intersection of business development, circularity and product. Previously working at Li and Fung and then H&M Group where she was responsible for leading several circular business initiatives, embedding a culture of innovation along the way. Laura was named a 'Voice of Change' by CNN in 2020 and she has lived all around the world, from Hong Kong to Shanghai, Kenya, Sweden and now Berlin.
