Mottie Kessler OBE is CEO & Chairman and founder/owner of 2M Holdings Group ['2M'], a portfolio of Life and Material Science companies, founded in 2004 and headquartered in the UK. 2M exports to 90 countries and has presence in 11 countries across the UK, Europe, USA and China. The portfolio includes specialty distribution, services and niche manufacturing. 2M received a Queen's Award in 2019 and the Kings Award for Enterprise in 2024. Mottie is President of the Chemical Business Association (CBA) and past Chair of the association from 2017-2019. He was awarded Director of the Year by the Institute of Director (IoD), UK and EY's Entrepreneur of the year. Mottie has degrees in Chemical Engineering (BSc) and Industrial Management (MSc). He is a Harvard Business School [HBS] Alumni, graduated YPO HBS Presidents programme and YPO programmes at Instead, LBS, and Singularity University.
