Nick has over 35 years of experience in the global polymer industry, with a deep knowledge of elastomer technology and its commercial applications across various markets. He is a graduate of the Institute of Polymer Technology & Materials Engineering at Loughborough University (UK) and has held a variety of technical and commercial roles during his career. Employed by Teknor Apex Company since 2006, Nick relocated from the UK to the USA in 2008 and has held several commercial and business development leadership positions during that time. He is currently the commercial leader of the TekVentures group, a Teknor Apex funded corporate venture studio, focusing heavily on accelerated commercialization of innovative new material technologies in the renewable/sustainable space. The team is working to impact the market by partnering with start-ups to derisk and bring their technologies to market.
