Nicolas Rochat is the Founder of Mover Plastic Free Sportswear, which he launched in 2021 as the world's first completely plastic-free sportswear brand. For over 20 years, he has pioneered the use of natural fibers in performance sportswear, trusting wool for layers, insulation, and lining in technical apparel. Back in 2009, he originated a washable wool wadding in sport garments that offers a sustainable alternative to synthetic materials. His Ventile Shell+ jacket won the Red Dot Design Award in 2025. Recognized as a Sustainable Shaper by NZZ in 2025, Rochat continues to challenge the outdoor industry to rethink its reliance on synthetic materials.
