Sophie is a highly regarded circular economy expert, practicing designer, circular business strategist, Life-cycle data analyst and Chartered Waste Manager. She has been working in the fields of sustainable design, behaviour change and material process for nearly 30 years, working across the globe with businesses and governments, using design thinking as a way to build a better, circular world. As well as being Senior Director at the Useful Simple Trust , she has co-founded etsaW Venture Studio and works in innovation R&D, building new ventures in waste and materials innovation to supercharge circular design. She is visiting industry professor at UCL and on the board of WRAP as well as on a number of resource and waste innovation and policy committees.
