Tobias Nielsen is a circular economy expert at the European Environment Agency (EEA). His work focuses on the interlinkages between circular economy and related policy areas, including bioeconomy and climate change, as well as on secondary raw materials and circular plastics. He is a member of the European Commission’s delegation to the UN plastics negotiations. Previously, he worked in consultancy and research and holds a PhD from Lund University.
